The Italian Influence including Albinoni, Marcello, Vivaldi, Corelli, Valentini
La Serenissima! From the seventeenth to eighteenth century Venice was a major centre of Baroque music and renowned as the home of the ‘Red Priest', Antonio Vivaldi. The influence of the Italians was extensive and changed the course of music from London to Dresden. Concerti by Vivaldi, Albinoni, Marcello and Corelli are just some of the great composers featured in this sparkling program of Baroque delights.
