The Conservatorium Theatre
This modern theatre seats approximately 700 patrons and is used by Queensland Symphony Orchestra for some education concerts. The moveable sound shell, acoustic curtains and adjustable panels on the auditorium walls make this venue acoustically outstanding.

The theatre is located in the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, 16 Russell Street, South Brisbane. The Conservatorium can be accessed via Grey Street and is adjacent to South Bank Parklands.Walking
The venue is a 10-15 minute walk from Brisbane CBD, reached by crossing the river on the Goodwill Bridge (footbridge) or the Victoria Bridge.Parking
Access to the Riverside car park and other Cultural Centre car parks is via Melbourne Street, Stanley Place or Russell Street.A drop off point for patrons with mobility difficulties or for patrons arriving by taxi is located off Grey St in the flag court beside the venue.
Train
South Brisbane train station is on Grey Street, centrally located between QPAC, the Convention Centre and Queensland Conservatorium. The train station is on the Beenleigh/Ferny Grove Line.Bus
Buses run frequently from all directions to the Cultural Centre Busway on Melbourne Street, Southbank. If you are travelling from the city, buses to Southbank depart from Adelaide Street, Queen St, Ann Street, and the Myer Centre busway.Ferry
CityCat ferries run from the University of Queensland, St Lucia up to Brett’s Wharf, Hamilton. The South Bank Parklands stop is a five minute walk from the venue.
